"C'mon Reynold!" Wren yelled, hoisting her brother up from the ground "I'm trying! You're going to fast!" He yelled. The teams had began running towards him, but many of them began to wobble, trip, fall and stumble. Balan, who stood at the finish line blew a whistle, signaling that the race had started. He felt Haoyu playfully punch his arm "You ready for this Leo? Oh. The blonde haired boy felt out of place, as NiGHTS was much taller, thinner and could fly. And since Haoyu recognized Leo's voice, he voted for him/NiGHTS as his teammate. He/NiGHTS had been pulled into a 3 legged race. Leo looked down at the rope tied around his and Haoyu's ankle. He watched as Haoyu took his position, and Emma, Cass, and Yuri came up, all with markers as well.
Turning around, he saw Haoyu in the dumbwaiter, a green marker in his hand. Outside was the entire camp, as well as the other Counselors, and Counselor Sundrop had a basket of various pens, markers and pencils. Leo's eyes got wide as he looked out the window. "Of course you all can sign Leo's cast! He doesn't mind!" Leo sighed as he finally got his peace again. "There we go! Well, we better get going Leo! But we hope that your leg gets better!" Mayday said as the two of them jumped into the dumbwaiter. The two nodded, satisfied with their work. And both had made their signature logo of Bunkbed Junction. Leo could feel the pressures of the Pins on the cast, and after a while, he felt them stop with a resounding "DONE!" Mayday had Witten her name, along with a small guitar Doodle, while Zuke had written his name above a pair of drumsticks. Mayday cheered as the two of them got out a Green and orange pen and got to work. Leo looked down at the plain white cast that covered his leg. "We just came up to see how you were doing-" Zuke was quickly cut off by Mayday "And we were hoping to sign your cast!" She asked. A little while later, the duo had made it up to Leo's "bunk", a few pens in their hands. "Hang on! We'll be up there in a second!" He heard Mayday say. "Well we heard about what happened.and we came by to try and cheer you up!" Mayday said, a smile gracing her face. I'm doing good." Leo replied nonchalantly. The door slowly opened to reveal Mayday and Zuke, who were holding a couple of markers. "Leo? Are you in there?" He heard a voice say. He hoped that using NiGHTS was Balan's only solution, and he was bed ridden for as long as he needed for his leg to heal.maybe for as long as he needed to get out of camp!Ī knock at the door snapped him out of his thoughts.
He enjoyed being alone in this crazy camp anyway. Balan had yet to come in with a new solution, and he had been banned from Dualizing with NiGHTS for the day.
